• Apply the nail polish slowly and carefully. Forget about the myth that you have to shake the bottle before the application of the nail polish. This is actually a bad move, because the shaking will create bubbles in the bottle and when you apply the nail polish to the nails it will be lifted away from the nail bed and when the nail polish dries out, it will crack and fall. Also, when you paint the nails, try to cover the tips of the nails perfectly. Also, apply two thin layers of the nail polish, instead of just one thick layer. The best way to save your nail art is to apply top coat every two days. That way you are creating a protector of the nail art which will take the damages and hit instead of the actual color or the decoration.

• Don’t do the dishes without rubber gloves. The water is the main culprit to the nail polish cracking and falling off the nails. The fastest way to ruin your nails is to wash the dishes with warm water and sponge. The dish washing soap is also one very good reason for your ruined nail art. So, for the ladies who don’t have the luck to own dishwasher – use rubber gloves when you do the dishes.
