Get Girly With This Floral Design On Hot Pink Nails

Some people think hot pink nails are already too flashy to play around with. However, you can still make it even more interesting by adding more some patterns and designs. This gorgeous nail art, for example, uses the hot pink shade as base color instead of the usual white or nude background.

What you’ll need to make this floral hot pink nails:

Clear base and top coat
Hot pink nail polish
Light pink nail polish
White nail polish
Light green polish
Yellow polish
Acrylic brush

Step 1: Hot Pink Nails

Start with a hot pink base. Before you start any manicure, however, make sure to properly prep your nails by getting rid of any leftover nail polish from your previous nail art. You also have to apply a base coat to keep your nails strong and healthy.

Step 2: Light Pink Tips

After the hot pink base dries, add a lighter shade of pink on the tip of the nails. Start from the middle of the nail and flick the polish brush down to create an irregular pattern.

Step 3: Green Stems

Using a thin acrylic brush, draw thin lines from the side of the nails to the other side but make sure not to go all the way to the other end. Draw several lines, with a couple preferably crisscrossing each other.

Step 4: White Flowers

Dip your acrylic brush in white polish. You can also use acrylic paint for a more matte finish to the flowers you’re about paint.

Draw five petals to create the flower. Start with a wider top, moving down to a pointed side. These thinner tips should converge together to turn into a five-petal flower. Add more white petals on the other branches.

Step 5: Finishing Touches

Paint the inner parts of the white petals with light yellow polish or acrylic paint to create depth. Then, add black dots in the inner parts of the flowers to complete the floral picture.
